Retirement News - Lesley

Dear Members 

As we mentioned earlier this year, our Administration Supervisor, 

Lesley Bird, is retiring today after 13 years running our office. 

Lesley joined the charity as Administrator in August 2013 and was instrumental in working with Nick Henley Price to source and secure our office in Leith. She developed many of our office administrative processes and procedures, organised our annual awards lunches, and subsequently assisted with the recruitment and training of Norma, Carole, CJ, and Rachel. 

Lesley has had a busy month, having recently moved house and celebrated a significant birthday, and we had a lovely farewell lunch for her yesterday. While we will miss her and her Lurcher, Romey, in the office every day, we know that she will be busy and will keep in touch, dropping in to see us occasionally.

We want to express our gratitude to Lesley and wish her a long and happy retirement!
